On August 14, 2022 at 4:34 p.m., the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to a call from Weis Markets Loss Prevention in reference to a non-active retail theft. Officers were advised that on June 26 and August 1, the same couple stole a number of items from 5140 Simpson Ferry Road. The couple understated items both days with a total loss for Weis of $213.33 and used an EBT card to pay for the items that weren’t stolen.
The male suspect was a middle-aged white man who is burly with short black hair. The man wears dark glasses and wore a black camo tank top and shorts and a gold cross on a gold chain. The man also had prominent tattoos on both biceps. The suspect was a middle-aged white female of medium build with dark hair in a bun. She carried a brown handbag and wore a red tank top and gray sweatpants.
The man was identified as John Nunez, Jr. by his EBT card. Further investigation revealed that Nunez is in a relationship with and resides at the same address as a Jamie Garrison. Upon reviewing photos of Nunez and Garrison, they were positively identified as the female and male suspects in the video.
Nunez has three prior retail theft convictions, making it a third-degree felony. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
